The label reads

"For cleaning and restoring of water repelency, return to laundry for machine washing in accordance with established procedures for quarpel treated garments"

anyone knows what are those 'established procedures' or where they can be found?
or how to wash quarpel treated garments?

thanks

I have original Vietnam-era boonie hats with the Quarpel treatment. The recommended laundry method is to use 140-degree (F) water with soap or detergent. The label further states that the item should be rinsed at least 3 times to restore water repellency. Hope this helps!
