Two quite different Devon fleece ELC Irvins

I had the lucky opportunity to buy a two to three year old Devon Fleece Irvin this week. The jacket is superb with curly wool in the body panels and a slightly curly fleeced collar. A friend who I bought a jacket this year shared his photos with me and it is interesting to see how different the two jackets are. His jacket has very curly almost metallic looking fleece with a contrasting collar. Sorry for the over exposed photos.

Paddy, one is mine the other belongs to a friend. I believe Paul had a similar jacket some years ago.

The 2nd jacket is what I personally would call Devon Fleece. I see the sheep from time to time around here on Dartmoor where I live. They are curly. I prefer this type of fleece on the jackets.
