The King of Cool "Hilts" Jacket

Dearth of pictures makes me less than enthusiastic.

Bovine leather is likely sourced from the most cost effective supplier. ;)

Could be made by Kelso or Andy.

Aero gets a mention, don't know if that means they had anything to do with it. So horsehide is 'heavy, stiff and unattractively shiny' is it? Hmmmm. Bit of a sweeping statement. It's a lot of dosh and minimal information (and pics), if I was spending that sort of money I don't think I'd go for one of these.

It is most likely made from cowhide, which was of course used on at least one RW contract. The leathers appears rather thick and some of the details, including the lining colour and shape of the pocket flaps are wrong for a RW from the 27752 contract, which was the contract of the original jacket worn by "Hilts" in the Great Escape.

From what I recall, Aero supplied the jackets to them but so I'm guessing they applied the name tag etc. also.
