This was posted up on the Face Book and an unusual jacket caught my eye, which was potentially ID'd in the comments section. I have never seen one before. Thoughts?

Never seen anything like it, especially with the "SEABEES" tag -
- I have a hard time to believe that the US Navy would make a deck jacket specifically for Seabees

Even more interesting is the original jacket pictured appears to have a fur trim on the hood as well like an N3B

It seems to be a close relation to the 'Special Winter' version of the USN Zip Deck Jacket, with a detachable hood added. The differences I can see appear to be no windflap, hidden cuffs, and the colour...the aformentioned jacket was khaki though there may also have been blue one.

In that great photo the wearer seems to be wearing a leather jacket underneath it, though not one with a mouton collar.
