Repro? Perry D-1

I'm trying to make sense of this jacket. Seems like a repro (given the "U.S. Air Force" sleeve stencil) that was artificially aged? Though I wasn't aware of any repros using the Perry label, aside from Eastman's B-3 and this certainly doesn't seem like an aged Eastman. Also, the leather looks suspect, with diagonal lines running across it. Could it maybe be a FiveStar leather/pakistan piece?

What are yalls thoughts on it?

Huh, interesting. If that stencil is legit then I suppose some USAF mechanic was rocking it well past 1947. Very cool!

The leather certainly appears surprisingly good for it's age, aside from the butchered collar.

Yep, most likely - I've got an original A-2 with a similar roundel.
