Pilots pistol from a long time ago

In a galaxy far, far, away.........

This variation of the BlasTech DL-44 was rescued from the trash bin at Universal Studios by a construction crew member many years ago. He sold it to me for 15- at the swap meet this morning. All metal construction, with machined flash hider, this also has some type of a small speaker inside. Looks like the scope is missing but still a cool item from the pilot of the Millennium Falcon, Han Solo. :geek: Yes, big Star Wars geek since I was 10 when the movie came out. The original Han Solo pistol from The Empire Strikes Back sold online for 200K, pretty sure I'm not that lucky, but also pretty sure this piece is legit. The guy didn't know what it was and was more interested in telling me his story with Universal than some story about the piece.

That's 'out of this world' Sean! Bargain. There are guys who do the kits who may be able to do a cheap scope?

Hello

Good info here:

Take a look at this thread on the RPF- 98 some odd pages on the Han Solo DL44 from A New Hope.

And a live fire made from a real Mauser....

You hit my nerd button with this one, I am in the process of making a DL44 replica when I need a break from jackets. The one you have looks like a combination of the ANH and ESB blasters. Probably made from a Tokyo Model Gun Company Mauser. If you post on the RPF they will tell you what it is in 5 minutes...

Cheers
