pike brothers b10, any thoughts?

Hey Guys,

I had a look at a pike brothers b10 today and thought it looked pretty good.

I am want to see if any of the members had any thoughts on the jacket. Is it any good?

The ECL looks ok but I just can’t justify that cost for a canvas jacket, especially when only a few years ago they were 50% less.

Should I consider any other makers?

Any and all thoughts would be most welcome.

Personally, I think the Pike Bros. version is a waste of time. If you don't want to spend Eastman money, I'd say go for either Buzz Rickson (used, if you want to save some money), or get Bronson's version.

Theres also Bob Dong's B-10 if still available, but Bronson recently re-released their 10 and it looks like a nifty little number for the price.

Just a quick question, I have an eastman A2, A1 and G1 all in 44. I am a 42 in the Aero Highwayman. If I get a Bronson B-10 what size do you think I should go for?

44, definitely not any smaller. Aero’s Highwayman is sized much more generously than the other jackets you described.

Thanks, everyone. Yet again your advice and wisdom have helped steer me in the right direction when looking at jackets. Honestly, this forum and its members are worth their weight in gold.
