i sent the seller a message that in effect says "the jacket is super, as it should, having been made by john chapman, who makes the most accurate reproductions, blah, blah, blah". never the less, the sellers price is very fair for a good wear a-2.

interesting. sold as an original, the seller must have informed the buyer that it was a repro. the seller bailed, and now its relisted as a repro, and a higher price. it would seem that the seller was happy to let it got for $550 originally, so i would reckon that an offer near the original sale price could cinch the deal. though $750 is an ok price for a gw, it sure as hell aint as good as $550, which was a steal.
