I used to own a Nylon A-1 flight jacket like the example pictured below. It was misplaced some years ago and I recently found a replacement.
I have seen these both with and without the piping on the arms. :? My particular jacket had the piping!
These jackets are charactoristically short in the body but large inside as they were originally set up with a removeable quilted lining. The nylon material is quite heavy and wears like iron!
