Here’s a picture of my trusty d-1 redskin from aero leather and an early 90’s eastman b-3 which I sold but probably should of kept

Hi guys, yes I still have the d-1 and wear it regularly. I may sell it because the seal Brown is growing on me more and more !!
It’s a great peace though, very very comfy and soft and warm. And great range of motion for my ape arms

Recently traded my ANJ-4 in for a D-1. Much as I loved the ANJ, it was too heavy for even a Scottish winter. The D-1's a really easy jacket to wear and plenty warm for any above a serious deep freeze.

Have to agree. Not so much too warm but so heavy to wear for more than an hour or so. As someone commented recently they were designed to be worn sitting down for walking about in.

+1 I recently sold my hardly worn Aero ANJ4. I found it too warm for all but the coldest weather and too heavy and uncomfortable, as compared to my North Face down jacket.

Both jackets look lovely.

The D-1 looks about about as thick as the B-3, was it?

Cheers
