"Modified Irvin Jacket"

The seller claims its a modified RAF Irvin jacket. I know what I think it is but what do you guys think?

Saw this ýesterday,what a shame. I suspect this could be post war as the seam types look very wide.

I don't recall diagonal back seams on either type jacket during the war years and these look original to its structure. ???

He's got some pretty cool stuff for sale, but he wants big money for it. I see another 'Luftwaffe' jacket, with some quite nice details, but no evidence it ever went near an aircraft.

I think it's a theatre made US jacket.

I would agree Peter. It is a cross between a D-1 and a B-3, with a FF.Ltd main zip which would have been available to 8th AF riggers in the UK. The seller revised his description after I started the thread. It is certainly not worth his revised price.
