Metal badges on A-2s

Are or were full-size metal badges (combat, special skill, identification) ever worn on A-2 jackets? These would be things such as the Combat Infantryman, Parachutist, or Drill Instructor badges. If not the metal badges, how about the embroidered sew-on equivalents?

I've seen photos of A-2s worn with USAAF metal wing badges (pilot, navigator, gunner, aircrew, etc.). I don't recall seeing any with non-USAAF insignia, but my background in this is hardly comprehensive.

I have seen metal insignia on A-2s but its more the exception than rule.

Metal insignia create the chance of snagging on the interior of the aircraft or other flight equipment. That's a reason to rather use the sew on leather equivalent.
