Lots of unhappy consignees etc.

I remember when I first started collecting A-2 that they were one of the major players on the scene. They auctioned over-priced and frequently utter shite jackets, though occasionally a really nice piece would surface on their website.

Other than Ebay, what auction sites are selling A-2 nowadays?

yeah,, it was inevitable that manions would be squeezed out. high fees for sellers, and buyers, crappy stuff often, and ebay, etsy, etc, not to mention online militaria dealers. no great loss to the collecting community.

Yeah, realised that myself a few weeks ago when I decided on a whim to check them out. Bought my first Navy jacket from them many moons ago. An AN-6552, plus some other bits over the years. I'm not surprised they're gone considering some of the crap they've been selling for the last few years.

Yeah, I got ripped on a "DAK" shirt that turned out to be a Brit aertex that had been chopped and modified. They did have some nice east European fakes but they were listed as such. I learnt early with them and only shopped there for repros.
