Pre-war jacket probably made in Austria but those shoulder buttons are the usual fake nonsense from our German friend.

At this stage, cheaper than a repro... Looks alright for the very low price it is now...
I would not have the balls to put buttons on my ELC Hartmann..for the second time..

Yes, I think your right, a shortened jacket. The arms look chopped down too and there is no waist or torso adjusters.
