Yes, it was the real deal. With the late war plastic zips. With insignia these jackets sell for well over 4K.

Others can probably tell you more, but I believe it was worn in the ME262. Sturmvogel or Stormbird.

Nice example of the late-war, two-piece leather flying suit. Not sure where/when the 'jet jacket' term came into vogue but this was a late-war item of issue for aircrew, not just those flying 'turbo's'.
