Leading Lady A-2

Hi all,

Went to the Imperial War Museum in London a while back and spotted this A-2 Jacket. It's russet in colour and has got a Conmar brass zipper installed. From the construction (no collar stand, no top stitchings) it looks like from late WWII period (post 1940).

Anyone in the know can identify the jacket contract?

Not sure what size it is, but likely it would fit me just fine ;)

Looks like a 27753 unnamed contract to me, but I'm no expert.

Peter,
Looks like you got it right. That's what John Chapman also suggested...Good knowledge!!

And a patch for the "Can Do" 305th...I always loved the design with a hand held bomb smashing a swastika
