Does anyone have an idea what this Nylon jacket is, worn in Korea by a member of 6401st Field Maintenance Squadron 1953.

I agree. massively popular in that era, right til woodland BDU superceded OD in fact.

Interesting observation, Tim. As a tanker in the late '80s I remember a few old salts talking about wearing such jackets in the days of green fatigues. They could be ordered from US Cavalry Store as I recall, but I imagine many were also purchased in Germany.

Anyone remember John Larroquette's jacket in Stripes? :lol: :lol: :lol:
