Why not use an ELC russet RW 1401-P, instead of a seal steerhide jacket as JS wore an original 1941 RW in a size 40?

PLATON, it was from the 2010 Heritage Research collection. It has been around for a while.

Apparently, it is just a steerhide jacket. I think it is just a one-off crossover
of ELC and HR.
