Irvin Sheepskin Flying Trousers (Size 6) - complete.

This is a beautiful pair of Large, Size 6 (waist 36-38", seat 42-44", inside leg 33.5") sheepskin flying trousers. These are in super A+ condition (dense, honey coloured fleece, unholed shell, smoothly working original Lightning zips and complete pockets). I've never seen buckles with such a good surface and entirely complete - they look mint. The braces are in great condition with plenty of elasticity. The contract number is H539777 - please could somebody identify the maker? They'll be offered for sale soon. Thanks to John Lever for the bulk of the photographs.

I bought a jacket and was offered trousers as well - dithered a bit, but the condition was hard to resist.
They're too long for me though (33.5" inside leg!).

What a beautiful pair of trousers. Totally useless in today's world, unless you happen to own a Tiger Moth, but beautiful all the same.

They look great but really are impractical unless you are a re-enactor or need the fleece or zips for a specific project. These ones should remain in tact as they are so well preserved.
