ID this jacket

Hi all,

I found this the other day at the restore...no tag other than a size tag L There was a military style tag sewn in under the L tag. The shell is unkown material. Buttons appear to be GI,has a Waldes Zip head with plastic teeth. The liner is like the M-1 helmet liner issued in the later part of the 20th century..not sure if they still issue them...
Jacket is warm and comfortable, no hand pockets, just the two chest pockets...any help or interest???

Without digging any deeper, I think it's a USN deck jacket of fairly recent vintage.

Thanks Peter...kinda what I was thinking..has the small tag outline..was thinking 80's
