    Hi,

I got this jacket about 25 years ago and from memory was told it was a Swiss or Austrian police jacket.

However, there is a Harley Davidson pin on the shoulder on one side that looks like it might have come with the jacket (it is sewn into the strap and not through it).

I've done a lot of researching online but was unable to find anything similar.

The label is nothing more than a worn "O" and I see no other markings anywhere.

Would really love to know the history of it!

That's a nice jacket. Definitely looks European to me.

Vanson doesn't make this jacket any more but I dug out an old Vanson catalog and it is listed as a Swedish motorcycle jacket. They made two versions that differed slightly
in the shape of the front pocket. One version also had zippered hand warmer pockets. There may still be someone at Vanson Leathers who could give you some history on this jacket. Sure is beautiful. I wish Vanson still made it.
