What a complete and absolute bunch of arse.

Coats like this have been popular and commonly used across northern, eastern Europe and the northern near east for centuries.

Sure the odd hippie and counter culture bohemian in the 60s probably wore one but FFS it's getting boring how these Japanese clothing companies seem to have to tie everything back to some idea of mid 20th century or post war idea of Americana
