Gibson & Barnes A2 SZ 40 ?

I know that G&B's run a little large, but 2 sizes too large ? The measurements given are for a size 40 even though the tag states it's a 36.

Armpit to armpit 23 1/2 is a 42 for some manufacturers. A few months back I requested from G&B chest and length measurements for some different sizes. I remember thinking that they were running two sizes big (I'll try to find those measurements).

In my experience I would say they run about 1 1/4 sizes bigger then the originals I have worn. I wear a size 40 A-2 and found that a size 38 Reg was OK but it was a little Baggy around the torso, and the arms were a tad long. So I tryed a Size 38 Short and it came up just a little too short in the arms and waist. I think for their jacket to work on a slim guy like me, it would have to be a custom job. Some body types I'm sure it would work for. They do have the options of Short, Reg, and Tall to help with sizing.

My 44 doesn't.

Some G&B models vary from others, too. Their M-422A runs only slightly big.
