G-1 Jacket Check

Fellow Shipmates,
Just wanted a "reality check" on this jacket. It is advertised as a 1951 jacket, but the research I have done places it around 1965-1966. Am I in the "ball park?" It is a very nice jacket...just not being advertised correctly from where I stand. Thanks for the "sanity check."

Hi Mike,
Now you're talking. That is a rather nice 7823C from Star Sportswear - circa 1965-66. I would say that if it goes for $150, that would be pretty good buying; any less than that and it's a bargain, and thankfully the days of these jackets fetching $500+ are a thing of the past (unless it's in absolute mint condition)

Very nice. I have one from the same contract in a size 40 that I wear regularly. Very nice goat. Thinner, dark, and super grainy! Pick it up if you can.

So, shipmates, what is a fair price for this jacket? The bids on eBay are up to $243.50 and the reserve price has yet to be met. Thanks for your advice and counsel.
