FQHH Half belt bike jacket

[Roughwear]

I bought this half belt jacket last year from the States. It would appear to date from the early 1940s judging by the triple-marked Talon zipper. It has been recently relined by the seller. The russet HH is thick, supple and with no issues. Can anyone suggest a possible maker. BTW its a size 44.

I've no idea of the maker, but, this looks very much like a 'Californian'. Aero currently sells one in buffalo. Here is a link for comparison's sake. It seems Kit Karson made one (?), maybe Windward (?). Perhaps even California Sportswear, but, now I'm really reaching.

Thanks Jack. I have been told it might be a Windward by someone else too. The Californian which Aero makes is similar, but the pockets are very different.
