My first B3 :D and Im certainly not dissapointed, and as has been pointed out by recent posts and John Levers recent thread I dont think Elc's site pics do it justice,...As you can see the " 50 cal " treatment is in my opinion quite subtle and complemented nicely with the seal warhorse trimming.....I'm off to Germany this week so it's going to get a good wearing hopefully and I'm looking forward to seeing how it breaks in :) ....I'll let the pics do the talking and will get some better one's on in due course ;) cheers fellas, Steve.

Wow..that looks really nice to me...yes I think your pics show it off ten times better than the site.
It would be good for Eastman to try and get some new pics up..possibly in daylight to really give an idea of the leather and finished product that they make.
Steve that looks a great fit on you and I see the weight loss is still going well..wear it in good health.

It looks absolutely stunning much better than the early dry ones. Lomax militaria have an identical jacket, also very well photographed

Thanks John, it is the one from lomax would you believe......I'd remembered seeing a picture of it
Possibly on one of your B3 threads and I was really taken by it
I think in the same way that your Perry b3 and m44auk's Perry really show the detail in the pics .....the power of the image I'd say ;)

Another superb jacket Steve. I much prefer the more subtle look of the single tone B-3's and the .50 Cal treatment has been done really nicely.

I knew it was the one. I spend all my working life looking at textures finishes and colours so I recognised the grain straight away particularly the balloon areas of grain on the lower front.
Great jacket, Is the leather soft and pliable ?
You are right about the TW thing, it does look very good particularly on the sleeve facings.
