It's just hear-say, but from what I've heard, yes. Granted, it's one of the better Chinese companies (maybe akin to Grant Stone in the boot world), but yes, made in the PRC.

(I would be happy to have someone tell me I'm wrong on this.)

TBH, the only knowledge I have is based on a recent comment (can't recall where - but it was a member whose knowledge I trust). But the company has been around for a while, and if it's true, I suspect they only transitioned to "made in China" in the last few years.

All of the Buzz Rickson jackets I own have a made in Japan tag in Japanese sewn in the pocket or lining.

All of the Buzz Rickson jackets I own have a made in Japan tag in Japanese sewn in the pocket or lining.

They only need complete one or two step of entire construction work process in Japan, which made the whole jacket ‘made in Japan’ . And their price tag tell the truth.
