Civie Star Horsehide

I just bought a civilian Star HH off ebay. It is made just like an A-2 with the epaulets and hook at the neck but has a mouton collar and red wool lining. Label says styled by Kurland, Star Sportswear Manufacturing company Genuine Horsehide. Hell of 'a good looking jacket.

Can any of you guys date this jacket or have any other info on it? Will try to get pics posted later.

Yeah, really like the A-2 jackets with the mouton collar; would love one myself...lucky you! And I bet you only paid a fraction of what you'd pay for an issued A-2. Look fwd to seeing the pics.
