Caring for New Eastman A-2

I just scored a brand new Star Sportswear Eastman A-2 off e-bay and I love it! I got it at a reduced rate over HPA prices but it didn't come with any tags so I don't have any of the mfr's recommendations on waterproofing, care, etc.

Do I need to waterproof the jacket before wearing?

I've had a few now from ELC. I just wore them hard straight out of the box. I never treated them with anything.

C.J.'s right .... just wear it as much as you can.

IMO...No. Just wear it,then after a few years add some conditioner if it seems to have lost some of it's natural oils....
