Captain Bob Rhodes Flight Suit Name patch

HI all,
picked this up recently, just wondered if any of you had any idea about the date period and country of manufacturer of this form of large name patch? See my blog for more pic's.



I've tried to contact a Bob Rhodes who flew B-47e in the 1950's. It looks to me like some I've seen from early 1960's on B-47 crews, but hve not been able to get a close look.

Obviously this particular one was worn in the '60s, but I've seen examples like that worn into this century in various color schemes:

Hi,
The woman I got it from bought the suit 40 years ago, but could give me no additional info, still waiting to see if Bob Rhodes gets back to me.
Thought it looked similar to these, not quite the same.
