No jacket like this would be made in such thin, drapey leather today.
That was a walk-around light work jacket. Today it would be a riding or heavy duty garment - FQHH or 3.5oz cow at least.

What a jacket again , love the collar shape ! Look how short it is ! (pants were high-waisted at this time, the belt were allmost over the (nombrilla, guess it's the latin word) bellybutton ! thanks Zoomer !)
