May be a civilian copy.Can't see any pleats at the back of the shoulders.Did they come without?

I would guess this is a civilian copy. Look at the neck. Although the zip is off-set there is about an inch of material at the neck which I have not seen on issued jackets as the bases of the collar at the front usually touch.

It is a civilian copy. I had one like it. The lining is a horrible green faux fur and the quality is very inferior.

You are right.I had an original that had a throat closure,which this can't possibly have.As for the lining,it looked suspect but could have been a trick of the light.
