I found someone to repair the tear in my Eastman roughwear b-6. She has been building custom leather jackets for 35 years. First thing she said was that it’s way to dry and reckons that’s why it tore so easily. She said sheepskin needs to be treated with some kind of oil. Didn’t catch what kind , talking through theses stupid masks. She was very impressed with Eastman and said it’s probably a 2000 dollar jacket. Not far off. If I ordered one today, by the time you exchange to Canuck bucks, ship it , then that Wally Trudeau takes his cut, probably at least 2500. I paid half that 6 years ago. Anyway, repaired and treated 50 bucks.
