Part of my job when I loaded B-52Gs was servicing the guns. We would load the ammo and then run the rounds up to the guns and and stow the turret. After the Buff landed, we would disconnect chutes to each gun, then catch the chambered rounds as we ejected them under the turret. Finally we pulled each gun and took them to the gun shop for cleaning. Fun stuff!

So if I recall you were/are a Muzzlef#%!er, and the in shop guys were bb stackers? this is coming from a nose picker... :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

We usually were called "load toads". The BB stackers were the Ammo guys that brought the bombs, missiles, ammo, and chaff/flare to the jets for us. They were pretty much our rivals in our career fields. ;)
