I was told that this forum could explain why A2s seem to be more in demand that G1s. Is it because:
- A2s were more common, more visible around air bases in WW2 (not out at sea)?
- A2s were featured in more Hollywood films?
- A2 horsehide has tended to last longer than G1 goat?
- The longer production life of G1s (to the stage where quality suffered)
- That fur collar?
- Tom Cruise?
It's all puzzling to me as it seems the G1 is the better design.
What do you think?
