Knowledge & education is saving "us" a small fortune Gents. Can you imagine the number of poor folk out there who do buy a 'pig in a poke' due to trusting these ropey descriptions...

That's dead right Paddy. There must be a huge amount of people who buy incorrectly listed items like this but due to a specific lack of knowledge remain unaware.

I've told this before but I've never forgotten seeing a listing for a "genuine" Sopwith Camel control column. Unfortunately the photos for the listing just happened to show...a wooden chair leg. Funny, or perhaps that's tragic, thing was that it sold.

Knowledge is key when buying anything specialised!

I thought EBay and poss Eastman could stop poor/wrong descriptions? Last year I sold an A1 and m422a and to get attention added in the description of both 'not A2/G1' and eBay pulled both until I amended them accordingly!
Cheers

That was a bit tough on you Wayne. So often you see sellers using Eastman, Aero, BK, GW etc.. in their item title so they are flagged up by searches, even thought the jacket was not made by these companies!
