    Hi all,
I have 3 original A-3 caps. I've noticed that on 2 of them the brim is sewn on in a way so that it is not centered (both made by Ashley hats). It is more pronounced on one than the other. It is really not noticeable to a casual look until you put the cap on. When the cap is put on in a way that you think is centered and then look in the mirror you can see that the brim is at an angle across the forehead--much lower on one side. (of course this is easily adjusted for).

I assume this is due to wartime exigencies, but I was wondering if any of you with original A-3's have noticed anything similar to this with the brim placements.

    Thanks guys,

    Joe
