388th Bomb Group Reproduction Patches

This was my father's bomb group and I've been painting these reproductions for the 388th reunions for almost 30 years. They've been painted with acrylic or sometimes stained with leather dye. Made in several sizes and tooled or just painted without tooling. This was the first patch design I painted and the one I still enjoy most to paint.

This 388th group patch, 563rd squadron , 8th AF and headquarters patch set were some of the last reunion patches made by a 388th veteran. This set was made for me and I continued making them for reunions using his technique.
