I saw that too, so glad it's not my size and with the damage it would be too risky...guess it'll sadly be off to Japan. can't we set up a lottery fund to keep historic jackets in the country?!!

It was the Great Portland St subtitle that alerted me. As a student I walked past the Lewis leathers shop every day.
I wonder how many others are out there in junk shops ....?

You could pick up many vintage Lewis leathers jackets back in the 1970's around london's markets and 'swap shops', the famous Croydon swap Shop often had a good selection of old leather jackets and a few Irvins to boot!
