Storage of original jackets

Hi all,

I've got a handful of original A-2s and B-3s that I've currently got stored in various places/manners and want to store them all flat and in boxes to best preserve and protect them. I was wondering if anyone can supply a link to acid-free storage boxes that are big enough to accommodate jackets. The majority of the ones I have found seem to be more suited for smaller items and documents.

Many thanks,
Willy

vintage wooden blanket chests work for me. when they are old enough, the wood no longer has moisture, and in fact, will absorb atmospheric moisture. the chests can be lined with acid free paper if wanted, any moth repellent can be put in if wanted. the trick is to find one or more that close tight and are wide enough to accommodate jackets. also, if they are good looking, they make for a plus in the home decorating dept. you might even consider lane blanket chests which are factory moth treated.

I like the idea of a WWII Supply 'depot' look to my storage space.

Keep things cataloged and dated as well if possible, depending on your collection volume.

Brown paper packages tied up with string. :)

PLease feel free to show and tell the cool stuff in your collection!!!
