Yep, that's why I mentioned them. Also because of local patriotism as Sinn´s HQ is just 25 minutes from my place... (No, i don't get paid by them.)

Did you find it locally or go out on the Web?

I was at an antiques faire. Didn't expect to see anything. Also picked up a visor cap eagle for $10.
Elgin was £150 and looks in excellent condition. Will post better pics later.
I'd love to get more but they are just too damn expensive.
I'd also be wary of buying on the 'net: i gather a lot are fake or have non original gubbins in them.
Like i previously said about my Vintage Avia, small goes against the trend. Also, these and A-2's were made to go together. Sits nicely on the wrist, doesn't catch the knits and their simplicity where function defines form pleases my eye.

have a few more from VN war time, these are keepers...Those A-17 and A-11 not .
I only keep Capt. Davis’ sterling silver Bulova A-11 and his stainless A-17A. ( not shown above).
