One of the great things with those snaps Steve and Andrew is they show just how huge the Jug is. You can see why the 4th FG boys were mortified when they swapped their Spit Vbs for P-47Cs!

Nice take lads. Certainly a difference in tone in those hides - original to repro. Andrew most of your originals that similar tone as your Knopf?

What jacket am I wearing at the moment? I'm certainly NOT wearing my replacement ELC Star A-2 that has just been delivered to my workplace. I promised myself I wouldn't open it until I'm home, so it's sitting here in a box. It's going to be a painfully slow afternoon :D

Be brave and open the box - if the workmates might think it is crazy somehow to walk around with that smile and a new jacket

Enjoy the few hours ownership of a perfectly made perfectly fitted jacket, once you open the box it could go either way. That's how I look at it as I sometimes like to wait a bit before unpacking.

Stop being the little devil on my shoulder! :D
I'm especially curious, because I recently bought a size 40 and it's a tad on the small/short side. So today I'll find out which one is the keeper.

I never found enough patience to do so ...

If I get some new garment (or even parts for my motorbike) first thing is to rip the package open to see whatever i got ...

The main reason I'm not doing that is the possibility that this one would be sent back for a refund, if it turns out the current size 40 is better. As far as I've read they have a very strict return policy when it comes to the definition of "worn". (Even though I'm the most impatient guy I know...)
