Thanks guys, it took a while to put together, Navy flight helmets don't grow on trees and are getting harder and harder to come by.

I picked this setup as one of the rarest:
Navy deck helmet modified for flight with the addition of TC66 earcups and TH37 receivers. The original owner attached a yoyo as a lucky charm and stamped yoyo on top of the helmet.
The helmet is displayed with 2 extremely rare pieces:
Something probably no one on this forum has ever seen. First the goggles are the Navy MKIV prototype goggles, probably the rarest goggles to find in any condition. I know of 4 examples and I have 2 of them. On the production run the pad is different and so is the bridge. MKIV is embossed on the rubber pad itself and the frame is nor marked.
Next is the extremely rare (i know of 3 including this one) US Navy marked A14 oxygen mask. It looks like at the very end of the war the US Navy decided to have their US Navy marked A14 oxygen masks. The AAF nomenclature was rubbed out and a red Bu Aer US Navy stamped on the other side. I did not want to miss out on this one since I never saw any come up for sale so i made sure I got it

. This one is beyond rare.

What a great collection of WWII aviation flight gear!
Are there any you don't have?
If so.... there can't be many.
