M-445A for the Redneck who has everything

You are now admiring a M-445A with removed sleeves, turning into a very warm vest. I actually wore it a bit this weekend and it is surprisingly convenient to wear. The M445A is a very bulky jacket and the sleeves are very constricting, turning one into a vest makes sense if you are looking for more freedom of movement. I do not know when the conversion was made.
The zipper works perfectly well and is the original Talon. It needed some TLC before making it wearable but the shearling is surprisingly strong and not dried out.

no one likes vests it looks like. I am a big fan myself as i find them way less restrictive than regular jackets.

If you're working outside (cutting wood, etc.) in the cold weather, vests are great. Same for hiking.
Now, killing a lovely M-445A to make one...different story ;)
Assuming by the looks of it that the sleeves may have been trashed or too short?

it is still very sturdy so I assume the sleeves were in good shape when they were lobbed off. I don't condone doing that but i bought it already modified.

A little bit of Picard's and some TLC would make it look good!
Pecard wouldn't do anything on shearling jackets. THe top coat is worn out in some locations but still very sturdy. No more TLC can be done on this one :)
