    Buco J22 on Ebay

I've had 7 or 8 old Bucos over the years with Blue and Brown labels.. they were all horsehide. The Buco steerhide ones were labelled as such, and even had a little steer's head on them! Making them easy to identify.. I'll try and photograph on later..

    ELC 're-launch' Roadstar bike jacket....nice!

I had a youth size buco as a young teen, and it had the loop on the D pocket like the Eastman model.. (It also had a little fake half belt..a nice feature) Might he have scaled a pattern from the youth model one (So in keeping with a slimmer cut for the Japanese market)?

    Barbour International advice

I have an old A7, and it's very useful, practical jacket. They are lightweight, keep you dry on the road, and actually look rather good casually.. people do comment on the jacket. Beware of wearing light coloured shirts though, as you'll end up with oil transfer, particularily on the collar...

    Pre-War Perry A-2 worth a look...

He does claim it was worn by a luftwaffe pilot in the listing... as a 'lucky' jacket :?

    Black Coastal Command Irvin

Hurray! A small jacket! I'm awaiting him to post size details... I mustn't get over excited, but I love these darker jackets. :)

Opinions on Perry Sportswear - Real McCoys...

Heya Miles ( x 2!) I bought your jacket Miles (The cyclechamp, but bizarrely with Indian stamp inside), it is indeed spray died, and is scratching off.. looks good though. Not a million miles from the old AMF jackets.. I saw a couple of variations of the jacket in Ueno, and the McCoys Buco...

    "Luffwaffe" jacket.

As he says on the listing... 'Onl here at Ebay!'. Can this be reported as counterfeit? He's purposefully selling fakes.. :-( Ruf

    AERO B-3 Size 38

Heya Andrew, I think I mentioned when I was in Tokyo at christmas the (relative) abundance of poor quality but insanely priced originals in Vintage shops. A lot of dry rot, flaking etc, many bust zips, seams and rips, and all in excess of $2500+ each. Aieee.... as was cried from war comics...

    Reed Products Type B-9

Deadly jacket Peter! I love the B9. My Dad had one he got from his stepfather who'd served in RN during the war. He's traded it with a GI for alcohol rations. I'd love to get one too... and hey.... I'm your size! ;-) I've seen a few on the bay...most get one soon... :-) rufus

What do you prefer B-10 or B-15 ?

B10! I like the functionality of it, and it's trim cut. I had a B15 but it's a wider jacket, and was just too 'boxy'. How needs handwarmer pockets when you've got good gloves? :-) ruf
