Finally got it stitched onto the G1. Kept it simple and reflecting it’s lineage without false provenance which I know some are sensitive to. I like it.

I’ll echo the flexibility of AVI, I’ve got their G1 and had additional features added on request. Morten is very accommodating & more than happy to discuss available options with you.

Ouch that’s a bit harsh! I guess the only possible way around it would be if you had friends/family in the country of origin who may be able to send it to you as a ‘gift’? Unless the customs duty is applied regardless?

Fortunately the cost of the item didn’t get anywhere close to the customs threshold here so it wasn’t affected. Fingers crossed it’s the same for you.
