This AN6552 is really cool, on the 2nd picture a Dynal heaven ;) Some G1 from 70s with Dynal can be still a not too bad option, if only do not have terrible thick and squicky hides.
Hey,
You will find some supporters of these repros here but in my opinion both makers are so-so in comparison to a genuine M422a jacket from WW2. Avi hides are really bad in my opinion. I haven't had Aero M422a and not planning to own, but assume that it would be a bit better.
Maybe owners of...
Jorgen is 100% right, USA is a proper place to look for G1 jacket. Just try to avoid G1 made from cowhides with artificial für, really ugly stuff in my opinion.
Close to Sweden currently you can get this one .... But it is a repro, can be a good starter kit, also relatively cheap one ;)...
Peter, do not consider buying repro at all. Even these made by people with great reputation are just a imitations/fakes like repro watches. Without any historical values.....Just my opinion, even the most accurate replica would be just replica and shouldn't be even called Cagleco, Monarch etc...
Hey Peter,
In case you would like to purchase a genuine USN G1 48 size from mid 60's in a mint (close to deadstock - just no inspection tags) condition send me a PM ;)
This USMC shirt has not a good print for the Mitchell pattern, in comparison to a genuine Mitchel prints. Also, there was no contract for USMC shirts type P58 in this camo, means pure fantasy stuff. Only for devoted brand enthusiasts ;)
Very cool jacket indeed, however, this mouton looks strange in my opinion [the fur looks a bit too "thick" like mostly on every modern repro - even these from the "upper shelf"]. Don't get me wrong cool G1 :)
