Just received this 64 Star Sz 44"....looks like it's just come out of the factory!....goatskin is quite a bit darker and thicker than my RE 63 B series...

Very Nice jacket Dave!....you must have quite a collection of quality USN jackets now!...here's the same earlier theatre made va - 145 patch....

Good B series G-1's are hard to come by especially in a size 46 so I think if 2 or 3 bidders really want this jacket the price will go higher by the end of auction.....I sold a mint Sz 42 Ralph Edwards B series on eBay last summer for $1225 :o

Just took delivery of this pristine 1963 B series G-1 that looks like it came out of the Ralph Edwards factory yesterday!...leather still creaks and has a fantastic "leathery" smell.. Some of the manufacturing chalk marks around the pocket flaps are still visible!.. The knits are still tight...
I think Silvermans had some Alpha Replica B-15's in a while back...looks like they've all been sold and they just have the replica MA-1 in stock http://www.silvermans.co.uk/ProductDeta ... fault.aspx
Might be worth contacting them to see if they can locate one for you?

I have long arms too!...but the Monarch's arm length is spot on for me...you could always try a 42 regular and if the arms are too short you could exchange it for a 42 Long...

Thanks Mark....it's certainly my favourite repro A-2 to date (and I've had a few!) yes it's a 42" reg...sleeve length is aprox 24" including cuff..if you're tall and slim then this jacket is perfect...
Cheers

I agree!.....the jacket has the nicest honey coloured mouton i've seen on all the Navy jackets i've owned past and present. I sold this Ed Church a few years back it too had really nice mouton although quite a bit darker...
