No, I am not getting any commissions from 5 Star!!!!!!! - I'm just happy to FINALLY see a great budget option for a nice looking A-2. I reached out to Shawn about an order which is all set in re pulling the trigger but if I approach rationally, no way I need another A-2, it would just be for...
Here's another new customer pic. A little large on him in re fit and leather maybe a bit stiff but should break in really well if actually worn: overall good WW2 vibe..........
The HPA website is even more helpful than ELC's as it lists the dimensions of all of the jackets in all of their sizes. Hugely helpful (maybe this is on the ELC site but I have not seen it).
I told John almost 20 years ago to make A-2's using hot water treatment on the leather before the cutting the patterns and asked him a few times to make one for me this way. Glad to see it a reality. He has done some others of course. Looks so great!!!!
so here is a downside IMO, photo of the Brandy in direct sun. Way too red, so if they can do the same quality hide in a more accurate color - great however, I know a number of buyers have purchased and like this super red color: Not my jacket or photo.
I would love to go to their showroom despite the financial ruin it would cause. I think being able to try jackets on would elevate the experience immensely.
