I recently picked one of these up. Very practical for my bike, old but in great condition. Aero wouldn’t let these out the door now I believe.

Back up for sale. Tempted - but the measurements are odd.

I like Hiuts - free repairs is slow but great to have.

I ended up getting speed hooks on a pair of Cheaney boots - because i never wore them. Still don’t! In fact for everyday use I ended up with trickers Henry (dealer) boots mostly, because they are easy to put on. Probably just getting fat and lazy in my old age!

How long does it take to put those bad boys on?

I hear that they made some rtw for George cleverly - I never got on with them on the couple have tried. If you ever need them resoled - kokos do a lot of the work for cleverly & c&j. Have you seen church’s prices since Prada bought them!

I have one horween- and it is better than the lamb skin I have. Lovely pliable and soft, and you get a great grain.

If I ever order directly - that sounds like a good option. Just very expensive ordering new - and I don’t have enough knowledge yet to enjoy the process!

Nice - how has it aged?

Does anyone have experience of this hide - presumably similar to Aero’s Vicenza - and as it ages more grain will begin to show? I know sone don’t like it (Aero’s) but I like my Aero Vicenza and think might be good on an a-2.

It’s disappointing he has decided to continue to advertise it as a JC jacket. He should have gone back to the person he bought it off imho. Or changed it to a JC collab or similar. Anyway that’s eBay for you.
